POINTS COVERED

The education and childcare sector is one of the largest in Luxembourg. In 2018, 49,000 children were enrolled in informal education facilities (day care, day care, childcare, and parental assistant).

The government has developed a “Staark Kanner” program to guarantee quality supervision and ensure the success of children, the future citizens of the world.

Managing facilities requires extensive knowledge of management, team management, educational staff recruitment, and safety standards, among other things. Legislation governing this sector and childcare facilities (public and private) has introduced new rules aimed at ensuring the professionalism of managers.

This basic training is the working tool to enable sector stakeholders to understand changes in regulations and to apply them in structures, in order to guarantee quality in the supervision of children from 0 to 12 years old.
